Higher belt speed at baggage handling thanks to an innovative damping combination of SLAB and TUBUS
Airports endeavour to shorten air passengers’ waiting times as much as possible. This aim is met with a solution especially developed for luggage transport systems and has solved previous damping issue. A combination of SLAB damping pads and TUBUS TA profile dampers from ACE is used. Transport carriers with a weight of up to 120 kg can now be moved at the desired conveyor belt speeds.
Matching Applications
Miniature Shock Absorbers - MC150 to MC600
Faster sorting with Miniature Shock Absorbers For a particularly space-saving design of its new split tray sorters, the Dutch company Equinox MHE has reduced the curve radii. ACE's MC150 Miniature Shock Absorbers are used to maintain the high speed in the curves.<br/>In continuous operation, these self-adjusting, maintenance-free types have proven to be ideal retarders after tests. In addition to reliable braking of fast movements in curves, they are characterized by maximum service lives of up to 25 million load changes thanks to ACE's rolling diaphragm technology.
Industrial Gas Springs – Pull Type - GZ-15 to GZ-40
Transport of sheet metal blanks optimised with industrial pull type gas springs Nordgreif GmbH ordered industrial pull type gas springs for a new generation of grippers designed to transport sheet metal blanks weighing several tonnes. In test operation, the tensile forces required for the design proved to be oversized due to deflection pulleys and varying weight ratios when lowering and lifting the loads weighing up to 8 tonnes. Thanks to the valve technology of our gas traction and gas compression springs as well as the know-how of our sales engineer on site, a remedy was successfully found.
Rubber-Metal Isolators - All Altitude Mounts
Electronics for autonomous driving secured with vibration dampers For their special kits for converting commercially available electric tractors into automated guided vehicles (AGVs), Schiller Automatisierungstechnik GmbH was looking for a fail-safe solution to protect the sensitive electronics in the control cabinet. After a brief internet search in the field of vibration technology, the engineers found what they were looking for on this homepage: After online design and immediate sampling, four rubber-metal isolators of the basic type AAM-5220 proved to be a perfect fit.
